This Is What A Fixed Boxing Match Looks Like (Video) Danny Green Vs Paul Briggs

Here’s some footage from Paul Briggs and Danny Green’s IBO cruiserweight title fight on Wednesday in Australia. As you’ll soon see, the fight didn’t last too long.

Briggs goes down in the first round after what can only be described as a playful tap on the head, and immediately the crowd jumps all over it. The announcers, unable to believe that Briggs would have taken a dive, blame his early fall on “health problems.” Bullshit. Bullshit I say.

The fix was clearly on. ESPN’s boxing writer Dan Rafael described the fight as “the worst tank job I’ve seen since Bruce Seldon laid down against Mike Tyson without getting hit by a legitimate punch in 1996.” Here’s the Tyson/Seldon fight he’s talking about.
